It’s easy to forget that Daddies are people too. That they have hurts and wants and needs. Not just wants and needs that revolve around us either, they have their own hopes and dreams and while they’re busy standing guard and protecting us from the world sometimes they let their dreams go. Maybe sometimes they just have a bad day yet they still come home to us strong and take care of us. I think every so often a Daddy needs a hug. Just one moment where they can rest their head on your breast and let the weight of the world go. That’s what I think anyway.
